KONDA Barometer is a subscription-based social research series conducted regularly every month since 2010.
Each month, face-to-face interviews are conducted by visiting households in different geographical regions, based on a representative sample of Turkey’s population aged 15 and above. The survey covers a wide range of topics such as demographic characteristics, political preferences, economic situation, evaluations of leaders, social mood and reactions to current events. Each month, social perceptions and values are measured with a different theme and an analysis specific to that month is made.
Data obtained as a result of 15 years of periodic measurements of the KONDA Barometer hşghlights changes in electoral behavior, consumption habits, value judgments, cultural transformations and social dynamics. KONDA Barometer, covering over 200 social themes so far, has become an indispensable source for monitoring social trends in Turkey.
In 2025, KONDA Barometer’s new content scope will include, in addition to conventional topics, new and current topics such as consumption behaviors, shopping trends, the climate crisis, views on the legal system, the Kurdish issue and the constitutional referendum.
